Great Hike. Starts by going up a track, dynamited out of the cliff face, and following the fast flowing white water river. After a powerful 10 foot waterfall the path then departs from the river climbs to a great view of the lake. A small side path (on the left as you come to the highest point) takes you to a wonderful 270 panaramic view. We continued down the other side where, on the right, a distant waterfall flows down an adjacent cliff face.    Read moreVisual feast of a hike. Wow this is a great trail along the Stillwater river as it passes through the gorge. The amount of water flowing by is amazing and deafening. If you have a dog make sure to keep them on a leash, you are right on the edge of a violent river. Pro tip: When you meet the Gorge Bypass Trail walk up it about 75 feet to get a great view and possible picnic spot overlooking the area. Sun was out for good part of the day. Clouds rolled in late. Tje views are beautiful. But trail heavily used late spring snd summer. We only saw a few people and horse riders who were clearing trail.
