We have visited the Meadow Trail at South Cumberland State Park multiple times now in every season and it never disappoints. My kids love it, even my teenager! The moment you step onto the trail it feels magical. Last year’s story along the path was a hit and we were so excited to see a brand new one this year. The kids enjoy reading as we walk and keeping an eye out for wildlife. Spring is my favorite season to visit with the flowers in full bloom and butterflies everywhere. The trail is always clean, just one mile long, and easy for families with younger children. There is a park and facilities available, but we always come just for the trail. We also recommend stopping by the visitor center, it is definitely worth the visit. Truly a...

The drive was closed, so we could only use the one nature trail for children. I was a little disappointed because I didn't get to see the waterfalls in the photos people have posted. Picnic tables and a shelter were near the welcome center. I enjoyed Artemis, the Hawk at the welcome...

Highly recommend Fiery gizzard trails and waterfalls viewing! Met my son there and we really enjoyed the ranger station in Tracy city and the hiking trails! The ranger station was very well taken care of, with a very informative nature center inside. Lots of great souvenirs from the park - bought a great bandanna with the trails printed on it and some awesome longsleeve T-shirts! ...

The visitor center was very nice. Lots of historical items and information. We were there on Sunday, May 26, 2023. The agent on duty was extremely helpful. She provided us with a lot of information and insights on the different trail options that helped us to select the best hiking option for us. We enjoyed the visitor center and a great hike in the park.
