I attended the "From Bedrock to Birds: How Geology and Hydrology Shape Ecosystems" event on 14 Sep 2019 and it exceeded my expectations in every respect. The Mass Audubon Educational Coordinator, Dale Abrams, led the walk and did a fantastic job linking the natural processes and concepts to the local environment. He actively encouraged questions and collaboration by the group. We had the added benefit of participants, Rob and Richard, who are resident experts on the Bidwell House, local and regional history, and the wonderful trail network on the property.
