Amazing beauty of nature surrounded by Forrest and one side by sea. This is one of the place in the Pfeiffer beach state park, this is famous for keywhole arch in the beach. It’s 3 mike drive from the park (main road) but it’s all single lane and lot traffic f curves and blind spots but it’s work the drive. The place is amazing as you can enjoy the beach and sand also lot of space to relax if you got the gears. One thing to consider is that this place is always windy and it feels chilly so do take your jackets. As the parking lot is little small, have restrooms but no water so you won’t get any water here so be prepared. Amazing views for sunsets don’t miss this place at all, must visit.

This place is good to hangout with family, roads are curvy and narrow. The path from main road towards this beach is a stone and muddy road and is a single road, hence one should be careful while driving. We have to buy a ticket, there are 2 parking place. When we went the parking was full and hence we were told to come later so have a backup plan and visit this place. There's a Henry Miller Memorial Library nearby this place hence we spent time there and came back here. Best to view the sunset and unfortunately we couldn't stay that long because sunset was at 7:30 PM when we visited.

Keyhole Arch is an absolute gem that mesmerizes with its breathtaking beauty. Nestled along a picturesque coastline, this magnificent arch harmonizes perfectly with its surroundings. The journey to reach it is pleasant and visually stimulating, and once there, the grandeur of the intricate rock formations and the interplay of light and shadows leave visitors in awe. The conservation efforts and preservation of Keyhole Arch are commendable, ensuring its longevity for future generations. A visit to this transformative natural wonder offers a connection to nature, a sense of wonder, and an opportunity for reflection. Prepare to be captivated and inspired by the incredible power and artistry of nature. One of our favorite views in this area...

Don’t attempt in a small or rental car!! We found the hidden turn off Highway 1, crept along the long narrow road, dodging passing vehicles and potholes to find there was a creek you have to drive THROUGH to get to the gate. Not wanting to flood the car in the deep water we backtracked up the road to a spot that wasn’t plastered with ‘no parking’ signs. Once finally at the entrance the ranger flat out refused us entry because she said it would encourage foot traffic on the road. Please consider it takes about 15-20 mins to drive to the access gate plus you have to drive through 1 foot+ deep water to even get here in mid May. Wish this had been mentioned or posted somewhere before we wasted...
