We found the hidden turn off Highway 1, crept along the long narrow road, dodging passing vehicles and potholes to find there was a creek you have to drive THROUGH to get to the gate. Not wanting to flood the car in the deep water we backtracked up the road to a spot that wasn’t plastered with ‘no parking’ signs. Once finally at the entrance the ranger flat out refused us entry because she said it would encourage foot traffic on the road. Please consider it takes about 15-20 mins to drive to the access gate plus you have to drive through 1 foot+ deep water to even get here in mid May. Read moreAmazing beauty of nature surrounded by Forrest and one side by sea. This is one of the place in the Pfeiffer beach state park, this is famous for keywhole arch in the beach. It’s 3 mike drive from the park (main road) but it’s all single lane and lot traffic f curves and blind spots but it’s work the drive. The place is amazing as you can enjoy the beach and sand also lot of space to relax if you got the gears. One thing to consider is that this place is always windy and it feels chilly so do take your jackets. As the parking lot is little small, have restrooms but no water so you won’t get any water here so be prepared. Amazing views for sunsets don’t miss this place at...
