Southern Pecan Products — Attraction in Montezuma

I only give a five-star for the front of the house.

The servers, bartenders, and bussers seem to be the only ones who care about keeping the atmosphere and experience for patrons to remember

The disfunction and separation happen with the back of the house. When you eat the food, you can tell that the kitchen staff only cares about getting their payroll. For a Creole/ Southern comfort food restaurant, the cuisine is sub-par to a box of Zaderans

After my first bite of soulless food that truly can not justify the prices, even though they are reasonable, even with reasonable pricing, it is better to get boxed food and microwave it.

There is no care in the cuisine and a definite lack of care on the owners part. If the owners cared, then they would give the cooks in the kitchen motivation to care about what they serve.

We had Essence as our server,and if it wasn't for her, I would have literally left the restaurant after my first appetizer bite. I stayed because of her passion to keep this restaurant thriving. Essence treated every customer as if they were the only one dining. Essence and her front of the house colleagues made the experience spectacular despite the soulless food.

Cocktails were amazing, too. If this Southern Pecan can manage to correct the disconnect with the front and back of house and take an example from Essence as to where they all love what they do, I believe that this restaurant can be unstoppable and a fierce contender, that everyone will...

They have an an amazing product, but their customer service is terrible. My Mother was spending hundreds of dollars a year on products from this business. She wanted to send me some pecans so she ordered some to be sent to me in Louosiana. My delivery was stolen off my porch. There was surveillance video and a police report. Southern Pecan Products refused to replace the shipment and was basically very dismissive of my Mother's request. She no longer orders from them and it's a loss for the company, not us. I hope someone teaches them about customer service, hospitality, and doing the right thing. They didn't even offer a discount on a future order. Oh, and shipping is also a rip off. We we’re introduced to them and there wonderful pecans on a recent trip to Montezuma Georgia from South Florida. They were kind enough to even show us around their beautiful orchids.
