I could have given a lower star than this.
Never plan an event here. NEVER. Its a nightmare. We planned my baby shower here and I must say that the farm management gave me more stress than my whole pregnancy journey. they are not aligned with township requirements and will disclose terms and conditions slowly over time.
We wanted to have a farm theme event and We asked them clearly about hay bales that were placed inside the barn. We asked the decorators to use the hay backdrop for designing the back drop. When we went there two weeks later to show our decorator the place, there were no hay bales. When we asked about it, they said township rules changed and we cannot use it anymore. MIND IT that they didn't bother informing us about that. luckily we went for a tour with our decorator. we had to recoordinate plans with or decorator and pay them more.
They made major changes to our arrangement a week before the event. Initially they told us that food and everything will be arranged inside the barn. But a week before the event they said that township rule changed again and food needs to be outside in a tent. Till this point I was so skeptic of their intention and we were seriously contemplating our decision to have the event there. because we didn't know what to believe anymore. but we still went ahead coz changing anything at that moment would have been so much stress for me. but the WORST was yet to come.
They called us two days before the event saying that the event needs to be postponed or cancelled as it was raining and the farm is not equipped to handle events during rains. I was dumbstruck. Firstly, isn't that something you tell a client before they book your venue. Secondly, we called 100 farms after their call to see availability and none of them had their events cancelled. We were so shocked and we repented booking this venue. To make it worse, They offered us a dingy conference room in their Holiday Inn for hosting our event. Imagine telling that to a soon-to-be parents to hold their baby shower in a dingy conference room.
We had enough. We cancelled their venue completely and luckily got a banquet in Akbar (the flora Banquet) for the same day. the staff and management at Akbar was amazing and so coorprative. they handled everything- from food to music to projectors and it was seamless. and the funniest part was- it was cheaper than the farm.
So I am WARNING you. DO NOT book this p[lace for any event. the management is clueless, inexperienced, non-empathetic and not at all...
