Very well kept, gorgeous hiking and mountain biking trails. Lots of different segments and loops for however long you want to hike. There are many views and areas to get photos and fish in the lake. The mountain biking trails looked like they were both easy and difficult depending on how you rode the trails!

Great park with something for everyone. Groomed hiking trails. Beach & great picnic area. Mountain Bike trails & plenty of spots to put a boat in. Be prepared for mosquitoes - lots of bodies of water.

Amazing place! Beautiful, calm and so fun! Love hitting the single track early in the morning and going to the beach with the family later! Very well upkept and so much fun!

Very nice park, nice, clean bathrooms and good amount of space between sites. Stayed one night only and it was full of mostly courteous folks. A few things could improve though. First off, there's a general misunderstanding regarding etiquette at this park. Several times kids and adults wandered directly into our daughters site while going to another trail. Also there were dogs running loose periodically throughout the day. Owners not cleaning up after their pets also. The other thing I observed was a Polaris side by side going at a high rate of speed by our site. It's getting more difficult to enjoy a camp trip when your having to deal with unruly neighbors. All this said, I would return here...

It is a place I grew up with as a kid Road snowmobile through it walk through it hunted it squirrels and ducks Road horse and gave little YMCA campers horseback rides it is a beautiful place but I also like to talk about what you call Otter Creek take me to Otter Creek starts at the Monticello city limits there's about four different fingers of the the creek to the north comes together with Otter Creek and 1st Lake Creek south of 94 west and north of 39 West first Lake and then it splits again west of Bertram Lake and go south towards Cedar in two directions it's fascinating to see how that water flows...

This park is designed with locals in mind expecting people to how the trails work and how far they go. Not all trails are well marked and there are no maps along the trails to let you know where number 4 trails begins and ends. Number 4 trails literally begins out of nowhere and ends suddenly. Be prepared to be frustrated and possibly lost on someone’s property. Also don’t expect anyone from park office to pick up if call when you’re...
