A hidden treasure to see it to believe it. One of the most serene place on earth. Definitely worth the long hike from north or south end depending on where you parked or where you get your permit for overnight camping. This is a backcountry hiking and it is a long hike to get to. I got my permit from the Salt Creek. The trail is fairly with some up and down elevation gain along the way but nothing to tactical. The hike is grueling long but worth seeing Angel Arch and Molar Rock in person. A dayhike is possible for trail runners but not recommended to anyone. You're gonna be exhausted and out of water. There are water source along the way but I recommend bringing enough for the duration of the trip. Lots of ancient ruins and cool stuffs to see along the way if you starts from the Salt Creek. A very remote place and definitely worth the permit and overnight!

Angek Arch is an exceptional place that is worthy all the hard walking that you need to do to get there. The arch' opening is 41 meters hight - that's a fourteen-story building.

Getting to Angel Arch is a magnificent hike up Salt Creek. Its about four miles there as the crow flies can but quite a bit longer wandering through the stream bed. There are ancient ruins and other smaller arches in the area. So take your time and see the sites. No dogs allowed though, the last time I checked. Permit is needed too, so...

A magnificent class B sized natural arch located at the far southern end of Canyonlands National Park. It is a sandy nine mile hike from Peek-a-boo Campground but it the scenery along the way that makes the hike worth while. Note: a hiking/camping permit is required from the park...
