The star of the show, without a doubt, is the Black Canyon itself. The name is no exaggeration - the canyon walls are so steep and dark, they seem to swallow up the sunlight. Gazing into the depths, I felt as if I was standing at the edge of the world, peering into an ancient abyss. Warner Point Trail is my favorite on the South Side. Exclamation Point is my favorite on the North Side and is an easy hike with an option to hike the summit of Green Mountain. Trail starts at the North side Ranger Station. Whichever side you choose, you won’t be disappointed. BC is the least visited of the 4 NP’s in Colorado. I highly recommend taking 1 day...
