Beautiful place! Staff (all volunteer) were very friendly and courteous! Wife and I are visiting in from Florida and wanted to see this place. We arrived and they were closed for maintenance but.... a very nice group of men (who were working) offered to let us in and look around. They even asked if we wanted someone to show us around but we were good. Many plants out of bloom (this time of year) but the roses were extraordinary! Many in bloom and the foliage looked plastic as they were very shiny and healthy. Compliments to the care takers! Kudos to everyone and Thanks for allowing us to meander at your work. Oh, it is Free to get in but please help them out and leave a...

Decided to check it out and its a cute little spot, wish the fountains were running, great landscaping and everything is well maintained. They just need a little food truck there and more seating, as it would be nice to grab a coffee meet a friend there or a snack as the environment is very inviting and zen. The entire property is clean amd very well maintained, these guys do great job making it remain clean and well kept as many people trash it, but the next day its already picked up. Some dedicated...

I've been a member for many years, also a volunteer & events participant. Thanks to capable & energetic board members, "weed warriors", and maintenace staff, this is a uniquely beautiful showcase in a relatively small community! Beautiful, peaceful sanctuary with many innovative features added in recent years: children's garden, native grasses/ rose garden ( etc.) and soon a restored " homestead"! Don't miss Christmas Lights & Halloween Scarecrows ( Covid...

Absolutely beautiful garden in Montrose. Free (please donate!) and open dawn to dusk. I saw one family in the several hours I spent here. It is beautifully laid out and maintained with helpful suggestions throughout about xeriscaping. They have sections for cacti, drought-resistant plants, shade loving plants, grasses, herbs and more. This is a wonderful place to escape and spend a few hours in search of beauty. Highly recommended

Great place to wander around and look at various plants, grasses and trees that grow well in the local climate. Paths are well maintained and many volunteers put in countless hours of labor to maintain and upgrade the gardens. The Christmas time event with horse drawn wagons, lights and a visit from Santa was well received by those that braved the cold weather. Well worth the trip.

Pretty gardens with informative markers about the plants and displays. There are many benches and picnic tables to rest at along with an easy path to follow to see all the sights. There's a children's garden with a book trail and a cute gnome home. It's free to visit (donate if you can) and very well maintained.
