Montrose Botanic Gardens — Attraction in Montrose

Beautiful place! Staff (all volunteer) were very friendly and courteous! Wife and I are visiting in from Florida and wanted to see this place. We arrived and they were closed for maintenance but.... a very nice group of men (who were working) offered to let us in and look around. They even asked if we wanted someone to show us around but we were good. Many plants out of bloom (this time of year) but the roses were extraordinary! Decided to check it out and its a cute little spot, wish the fountains were running, great landscaping and everything is well maintained. They just need a little food truck there and more seating, as it would be nice to grab a coffee meet a friend there or a snack as the environment is very inviting and zen.
