Such a fun park! Veterans Memorial Park is so nice! We enjoy the walking trail around the park! Sometimes we just go walk and pass people on bicycles, skateboards, littles walking or on scooters, others walking their dogs, a lot of people use it! The playground is a great size for the kids to be entertained for a good while (when it's not too busy) & the creek through it keeps the kids searching for turtles as we see them on the sides and the ducks as well and some also fish! The plaques with all the names on them too from the war & on holidays like Veterans Day or Memorial Day they have events here in the mornings usually. There's also a public restroom, a pavilion to use, benches all along the path and the park is always...

🎖️Beautiful Tribute and Lovely Park🎖️

I hope my pictures do this park justice! It's a lovely place to take a quiet stroll, walk the dog, ride your bike, or sit on a bench and contemplate life. There are also some playgrounds for the kiddos to enjoy.

The statues near the entrance provide excellent photography opportunities. I especially love putting my photo settings on "vibrant" and snapping away to really capture the vivid red flowers and green grass surrounding them. Different times of day provide unique lighting effects, painting the statues in variegated, poignant hues. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat lunch, stretch your legs, or see the sights, Veterans Memorial Park provides a great...

I like to come here to jog, walk my dog, or let my grand baby play in the playground. The park is kept pretty clean and has a nice memorial with flags and lights. The sidewalk (almost one mile around) runs along a little creek and crosses a residential street at 2 places but it is not hard to cross. It is a nice area, well lit, with a pavilion with picnic tables and plenty of places to sit in the area, if you need a break. There are bathrooms available, which I really appreciate. There is also a water fountain. They had doggie bags in several places for dog-walkers to clean up after their animals, I just wish more people would...

Nice park! It has 3 different playsets for kids to plays. They are mainly for kids around 7ish but everyone can still enjoy. The is a concrete walkway that is about a quarter-mile long. The path is not for running though as it has some sharp turns and a bridge located on it. The park does have bathrooms but they are not to clean. You could use them if it's an emergency... overall this a very nice park for the family. Also has some history and memorials to visit why you walk around the path.
