Such a fun park! Veterans Memorial Park is so nice! We enjoy the walking trail around the park! Sometimes we just go walk and pass people on bicycles, skateboards, littles walking or on scooters, others walking their dogs, a lot of people use it! The playground is a great size for the kids to be entertained for a good while (when it's not too busy) & the creek through it keeps the kids searching for turtles as we see them on the sides and the ducks as well and some also fish! It is a nice area, well lit, with a pavilion with picnic tables and plenty of places to sit in the area, if you need a break. There are bathrooms available, which I really appreciate. There is also a water fountain. They had doggie bags in several places for dog-walkers to clean up after their animals, I just wish more people would...
