This is a very nice and well maintained park. There is a stone/gravely trail that basically goes around the perimeter of the park. There are some boardwalk offshoots which take you through the woods and a bit into the swamp to give you a great view of the river. At the ends of a few of the boardwalks there are some benches. We went in the winter so it looks a little dead but I am sure it is very nice in the summer and beautiful in the fall with the leaves changing. The terrain in the center of the park is like a clear grassland with a bunch of bird feeders set up. I would expect it to be a good place for bird watching in the summer. As I mentioned before, on the outside of the loop there is woods and marshlands. The majority of the trails are maintained either with their gravely type surface or the boardwalks. There are a few natural/unmaintained trails but I am not sure they are "official". The only downside for me is that it is on the small side. I like to log 3-4 miles hiking. The loop is just short of a mile, you may walk a little over a mile going out onto the offshoots and...

Quiet park with decent amount of parking. Handicap accessible parking. Private public bathrooms which are surprisingly clean. All stainless steel ware. Approximately one mile walking path with a center path cut through to the creek side. Clean trails. Plenty of wildlife and two lookouts over the wetlands of the Rancocas Creek with free long distance viewing binoculars. I've personally seen beavers and turtles out in the wetlands also a good place for bird watching. Oh, benches on the outlooks to relax and around the trail. Trash and recycling available throughout. I've had deer run out me on the horse trail along the front side of the trail and numerous other sightings of deer. Typically in the fall around dusk. There is a very nice gazebo close to the parking lot with a small pond with gold fish and frogs. Two little waterfalls for a relaxing nature sound. Park rangers frequent park and are very friendly and knowledgeable. There are information posts along the trail describing the wildlife and...

An excellent small nature park! There is a good amount of parking, restrooms and trail map posted. There are many benches and even a picnic area. It is a 1 mile loop trail with several offshoot trails to viewing areas. It is recommended to go to those areas which are accessible via boardwalks. The viewing areas often have benches and blinds to allow more chances to see birds. The trails are hard pack so easily walkable. Dogs are allowed. This is a great place for an easy walk that is mostly shaded in...

A hidden, sweet, little forest paradise that could serve as a perfect spot for a quiet solo walk or to take your kids and/or dogs for a walk and see some wildlife. The sighting of deer and many types of birds are super common. Oh, and I saw a snake as well last summer. If you have little or young kids, the lawn next to the parking is an amazing picnic spot; just bring your blankets and food and drinks and sit and relax after a bit of walk in the woods.
