Would not recommend. Other reviews sound great, but we came here on my daughters 4th birthday because all she wanted was ice cream after leaving the Lazy 5 Ranch around 545pm today, a Thursday, and my youngest daughter needed a diaper change. Toddlers do nothing in a rush, so By the time we walked up to the entrance it was 5:56 and they told us that they closed at 6 and we couldn’t get ice cream. Obviously my husband and I just said okay but all we what is ice cream and the older lady speaking to us said “well I’m sorry we are closed” so we just told our little girls we would go somewhere else. But a 4 year old and a 2.5 year old don’t understand that they can’t get ice cream bc there was 4 minutes until closing, so clearly getting back in the car they were upset. We love supporting local business and love the hometown feel ourselves but we did not feel welcome at all. we are up here a lot at the lazy 5 ranch, but we will not be back to this particular farm although we were going to come back to pick strawberries. I also was going to buy several plants while we were there but wouldn’t have slowed down their closing at all because we do care about other people and understand the freedom of getting to go home after work. We aren’t mad, just disappointed at this...
Read moreOn September 10th, my daughter had her wedding with Patterson Farm. I make a point of saying that her wedding was with Patterson Farm. They were with us every step of the way. A fantastic outdoor wedding was planned. Victoria was very attentive to every detail my daughter had. The only thing that could not be controlled was the weather. It had not rained in this area on September 10th for the last 6 years, well that changed this year. This is were the Pattersons went to work. The venue and almost every detail was altered or changed in some way to accommodate for the poor weather. This was all done in less than 72 hours. I could not have been happier for the way things turned out. They went above and beyond to make this day special. I give them 5 stars, not for the venue (never got to see the original venue), but for the personalized service and dedication they had in making this day as perfect as it could be. I am not sure you can put a true rating on that. I know that they have not done very many wedding, but with the care they show for the people involved, it is insured that it will be a...
Read moreWe have been to Patterson a few times over the years. However, I feel it's worth stating that despite increasing ticket prices it is still economical and worth the costs considering that they have year round activities. A large. LARGE play area that caters to ALL ages. Large strawberry picking areas. An ice cream shop, gift shop, farm animals, snack shop, eating areas, portable potties that were well kept* hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations. The staff at the gift shop were MORE than welcoming, friendly, and professional. It was two woman working the front and they are the best first faces to meet for the farm because they really expressed gratitude and helpfulness to us as parents. The staff were NOT overbearing, you could tell that they actually enjoyed having children come as they all had smiles on their faces and wanted to keep us all safe. We went as a field trip but we will be going back as a family to enjoy more of the activities and play area. Oh! Almost forgot they also have a wagon/ tractor pulled ride!
