A great spot for swimming, especially since the beaches are so far away. The size is larger than what the pictures show. There’s grassy areas to lounge on as well as sandy areas and a roofed structure to eat.
The quarry is overall deep, your feet will not touch the ground but if you are afraid of the water there is a area that I shallow and slowy gets deeper.
Dogs are allowed but not in the water.
The lifeguards are great and ready to respond if need to.
Th food is great. Good selection And fair pricing but we should bring cash if they don’t except card.
Honestly this is my new favorite hang out but...now for clear downsides of this business That I feel need to be addressed or at least let the public know before they come here for the first time.
The pricing at $25 per Adult on the weekend is crazy in my opinion. I do have a process where you can reserve a ticket ahead of time and save five dollars and then the five dollars do you save will go towards a deposit that will eventually go towards your food but we can take it are very hard to come by in the reservations forcing you to pay the extra fee at the door.
The steps have traction tape that is not fully on and if your not careful you will slip. Also not much has been done to the rocks of the quarry to adapt it to people using it as a body of water to swim in. The rocks that lead to the medal steps prior to the water are very slick and a major trip hazard.
Their CASH or CHECKS ONLY policy is a major inconvenience. I’m sure it works to the owners benefit especially for tax purposes but not for the customer.
This location draws large crowds. While they do take temperatures at the door and give a disclaimer in regards to social distancing that is in no way shape or form implemented once you’re inside. They simply have you sign a waiver to protect themselves of any liability prior to your entrance to the park.
Overall a very nice little secret but the pricing , payment policy and crowds push it out of my comfort zone. It’s a very unique experience because it’s not a lake and it’s not a beach. It’s definitely something you want to show your friends come from out of town. I really do think at this is Jen but the issues I noticed must be addressed as I find...

RESERVATIONS What is the point of making one if they allow walk-in's for extra $5? It gets OVERCROWDED by 11am and it's hard to find a good spot.
ADVICE to the owners & managers: Put some kind of barrier where people can lay down on towels, put their chairs and SEPARATE the volleyball "field". ME and 3 OTHER PEOPLE GOT HIT by football and volleyballs and Americans are too nice to say anything. Myself, being from a different country got up and let one of the staff know.
ROPE SWING You have to PASS the test by doing a PULL-UP on a TINY, SLIPPERY BAR to be able to USE the rope swing. I myself am very fit, I can lift heavy weights, run for miles, do push-ups, etc. I could not do a pull-up because it's not part of my gym routine. Lots of tiny kids could do one and they were able to use rope swing. ONLY KIDS, VERY FEW ADULTS.
ADVICE: ASK people to hang from this bar for 1 minute. THAT SHOULD BE THE TEST. I know there are accidents, but be reasonable. Let EVERYONE have fun.
WATER. It is filthy! FOR $25-30 PER PERSON staff can clean the water, prior to people coming in. BUY EQUIPMENT that can clear the surface, at LEAST. It burned my eyes when I opened them for split second underwater. No pool, no ocean made my eyes hurt as bad as water here.
FOOD. Overpriced and it's FAST FOOD only. You are NOT allowed to bring food & drinks. Either way, people will still trash the place and leave garbage everywhere. Only water is allowed.
STAFF One of the staff was very RUDE to me when I was joking with him about the rope swing. Whose brilliant (sarcasm) idea was it to hire bunch of IMMATURE, RUDE high schoolers that are LAZY? ADVICE? Hire adults or staff that WANTS to be there in the first place.
PICTURES Do not let the social media fool you! It might be look pretty on Instagram, but as someone who travels quite a lot, you can find bigger, better and more gorgeous spots anywhere else. Did I mention the water stinks too? At the Quary and right next to the parking lot?
PRICES Is not worth it. At all. Should be free or...
Read moreDiscrimination against chunky or unfit people. I lived in FL my whole life and love swimming. I would spend 3 straight hours in the water at the beach. Come here and my swim test was failed. Why? Because I was out of breath. You jump off a 10ft rock, swim to the landing, tread water for a minute, then swim approx 100ft, and climb up a 10ft ladder where the steps are like a foot apart. So yes I’m chunky and I tried to briskly swim thinking it was timed because an older gentleman before me who took his time was helped out with a lifeguard and failed apparently because he was taking too long. I rushed and winded myself. I also got up the ladder but it’s challenging of course especially when the handles are slick and again being a big girl. Yet the guy who failed me said it’s not timed. Well I obviously showed I could swim. A girl behind me who is also chunky did the test just fine and was also failed. So we are forced to wear a life vest like a toddler. This place is EPIC and beautiful but absolutely awful staff. Most of the lifeguards are young and rude. On the high jump off the same guy who failed me, literally wasn’t even paying attention to the jumpers, and someone jumped and just missed landing on another person. They have such attitudes, aren’t welcoming, and act like you’re inconveniencing them. It’s pricey too. One other thing that’s frustrating is the ramp you walk down into the water has a steep drop with rocks below. There’s no signs and no warnings. So many people had issues when I was there. Then off to the right is a massive rock you can’t see and people kept walking into it stubbing their toes. I guess because they make you sign a waiver taking no responsibility, they just don’t care. We had a fun time once we got settled and again impressed with the location, but they really need to change...
