I would not rent from them again just based off how they treat their customers. The items were in good shape (requested 30 stemmed glasses, 5 were not stemmed I found out once I was putting them on the tables). There was a mix up in understanding pick up time/dates so I acknowledged (many times) I made a mistake but she kept pressing the issue to the point of frustration. Placing the blame on me when I am already frustrated and aware I mixed up my days does not help the situation. Also, they assigned you a pick up day and time if that does not work for you they make you feel kind of like you are a pain by asking for a different timeline. Lastly, I think another issue is I wanted to cancel an item about 1 week before my wedding because I was just going to make the main ceremony arch myself but she talked me into upgrading to the double triangle arch (which was 2x as much money) so I did not need to make it. That was also the piece I was not able to then pick up due to my mix up in days. So one day before my wedding I had to rethink my entire center piece which she did not seem to care about one bit. I was annoyed I let her talk me into upgrading because now I was out twice as much money. Oh but she offered to come in the next day (Saturday) so I could pick it up for an extra $45. No thank you, I live 45 mins outside of town, to pick up an triangle that would take 5 mins to load, and then to drive back 45 mins (needed to be in a enclosed trailered). Read moreWe recently rented stemware for my daughter's wedding reception. Upon unpacking the champagne flutes, we found at least 3 with lipstick residue and all the others were spotty. We spent valuable set-up time wiping EVERY SINGLE GLASS to remove the spots. Upon returning the 5 cases of glasses, I spoke with Carrie and informed her of our experience. She explained to me that they sanitize the glasses and that they cannot wipe off the spots because that is against the health code. I requested a refund of the $65 cleaning fee since the glasses were not clean. She insisted that they were sanitized. Carrie clearly does not understand the difference between CLEAN and SANITIZED. She stated that the cleaning fee is to ensure clean glasses for the next customer, and she therefore could not issue a refund. I can only assume that the person before me did not pay a cleaning fee to ensure I received clean glasses. Carrie also informed me that they do not wash their own dishes, but send them to another kitchen for washing. We had originally viewed the warehouse as a potential venue and decided it was too small, but loved the place and Carrie was fantastic! Communication along the way was a little hit or miss via email- depending on who you are working with, but overall it was fine. I was able to get ahold of the owner, Carrie, via cell and communication was great that way. The rentals were exactly what we were hoping for, everything was beautiful, and placed exactly where I was hoping. The team came and set up everything swiftly and took everything down for us. It was very easy and smooth sailing. Overall we are so happy we went with Gathered Rentals and would highly recommend to anyone else looking for decorations for an event!
