Big Rock Stadium — Attraction in Morehead City

This is a great place to take in a ballgame! Our family attended a Marlins game here during our vacation to the beach. Tickets were very affordable and they even have an AYCE option (which we did not do). Sightlines and seating are good. Plenty of safety netting but no roof, so we were in the sun until it dropped behind the trees. The biggest disappointment was the concessions. They were sold out of mostly everything by the third inning. What we were able to purchase was average at best. Actually a nice place to watch a baseball game. I will go again. Seating not comfortable to be expected for bleachers. I’ll bring a seat pad next time. One star removed for having to endure all the crazy teens climbing all around us on the bleachers. Darn kids cannot stay still and watch a game. Used to be a great place for families. Teenagers are there harassing the older fans by using profanity and throwing objects at you when you try to stop them. Management and security does nothing.
