Okay so this place is sometimes amazing and sometimes disgusting. there are full-time rangers there you are excellent human beings and their to help in case get her. But the dirt when it's dry, is miserable and disgusting. go there 2 days after it rains, and you'll be treated with sculptors clay that could care less if your tires are rounded. This place turns epic after a rain. Motocross track is definitely beginner. The ATV truck is a great beginners track wonderfully banked corners. The singletrack is all one way and direction and it's pretty much impossible to ever get an a collision with another party there. I wish more riding spots would adopt us as a standard. I went there for the first time after a rain today for the ghost riders motorcycle club. Very nice people, families and quite talented a-level riders. Being that I just moved from San Francisco coming from Los Angeles it's a different style of writing but great because it's only $5. And if the dirt is right, and it's close to you, you'd be silly not to go three to four times a year.
It's not the largest place it's a maximum 10 minute loop around the perimeter, but for the price location an occasional awesome dirt and grooming with excellent picnic benches at the top of hills and in the parking lot you can't beat it. There's a dedicated trials section or what some people refer now to as endurocross. There is ample parking with a loading ramp so you do not need to bring a can back up to a loading dock ramp.
Okay so sorry about this review and is grammatical errors I did this while driving back from the park with grins on my face using Google's...
Read moreThis is a great fun place to be at, but my review is about people who work (and ride) there. I am a novice dirt rider who came to the park to make my first round if mistakes. I ended up in a wrong (expert level) trail with a broken coolant hose and non-ridable bike. I had no idea what to do and how to get out. Lucky for me, a fellow (a lot more experienced rider) found me there and went for help. Soon the rangers came to help me out. They rolled my bike through the bushes and then picked it up on their truck. Unfortunately i know the name of only one of them, Ryan, but i want to express the word of appreciation to all people working in the park. And special thanks to Ryan for letting me to leave the bike in the park overnight and assisting in loading it to the towing truck...
Read morePlenty of parking. Went there for the beginner circle and beginner track. The place is clean and there are porta jons easily accessible. The price of six dollars per car is a great deal. Upon entering a sign says, to pay first or check in first, something to that degree. Since it was our first time, we parked first and began walking to the office. We were instructed to pull the vehicle up to the front of the office, saying they needed to see the bike. First, blocking a road is a safety issue for fire fighters so upon entering it did not occur to us to block the road with our vehicle. So, if it's your first time don't be misled by the sign. It made sense to us to park first and take the registration and bike up to office instead of blocking the road but...
