We were on a road trip through the area for the first time and wanted to try a local winery. The location is very pretty. We were welcomed by very friendly staff. DuAnn helped us with our tasting and was knowledgeable and extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed several of the wines and purchased 6 or 7 bottles. They were not the most amazing wines we’ve ever had but we enjoyed the wines and the experience enough to want to purchase some. The other employee who was busy setting up something else seemed very sour and like she’d like us to leave. I’m glad we didn’t have her for the tasting because it wouldn’t have been nearly as pleasant. One tip would be for them to do the tastings in glasses instead of plastic. Would make the wines even better. I don’t foresee us being back in that area again, but if we were, we would visit again and hope DuAnn was working!

Staff in the tasting room was wonderful. Most of the wines were excellent (and the ones that I didn't like just weren't really my taste, nothing wrong with the actual wine). The scenery is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful (we were the only ones there). My husband and I joked about buying the place when we retired, that's how peaceful it was! It's a bit of a hike from Pittsburgh, but we'll definitely return!

This winery was the stop on our tour and I feel as they saved the best for last. We took a hayride to go see the orchards and even got a chance to see how the make their wine. Oh and the wine was awesome. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs.

Acreage of rolling hills, hilltop vinyards, excellent company, and a variety of world class wines Thistlethwaite Vinyards calls it home. At this classy venue with a modern touch the small vinyard aims to aid new and experienced winegoers alike. Tastings are free with great variety, selection of barrel aged and non-barrel aged reds', whites', Dry, semisweet, sweet, and "very berry". Being new to wine tasting, and after only 2-3 visits, i was able to determine what my palate desires. The barista's are knowledgeable about the wines served, knowing which french grape varieties are in each bottle, and easy to strike up a conversation. You will not be disappointed bringing your significant other to lay back and enjoy fine wines, or a family to one of...

I happened to be in the area for work and ended up in their parking lot, So I just had to stop in and see what they where all about since I never heard of them before, I tried a couple tastes of 2 fruit wines, I like desert wines that are sweet and the Thistle berry is great, it has a raspberry flavor that is not overwhelming and is great for cooking pork chops in! I haven't opened the other bottle yet to try but I am sure it is just as good. I will be returning for many more purchases. The people there are very warm and welcoming I felt relaxed taking my time to look around the store and try flavors All I can say is Friendly place to...
