The lady in the front is very nice however the overall experience was terrible.. I came in with my friend and nobody else was there at the time as far as walk-ins. Spencer was available and unfortunately tattooed us. His rough draft of designs were sloppy and disproportionate since he didn't take into consideration the size of the body part he was working with, which led to several revisions to get close to what i had asked for. He did my friends first who has several previous tattoos and said this was the roughest most heavy handed tattoo he's ever recieved whilst the most expensive for such a small design($120 for a very small sun) His shading and lines were messy and not straight. Clients started to arrive when it was my turn and I could tell Spencer was frazzled by the amount of work walking in and he vocally admitted to me he felt nervous. I waited with a stencil on arm while he did piercings for clients that had just arrived. We were there for almost 2 hours in total. I paid $160 for my rather small rushed 5 minute tattoo, with an unshaded moon per request that has very obvious unstraight lines on the arrow. I was still as a statue. Spencer is unnecessarily forceful and rough with no regard for how he makes people physically feel. It's impossible for him to wipe your skin, shave, or even place a bandage without your body moving from the ridiculous force he uses. It's as if he hates his job, is burnt out, or has no regard for his clients' experience. I fully understand the atmosphere and the pain that's expected, but the unnecessary roughness, sloppy lines, and disregard of the human experience will indefinitely lead to no return for me. I have to schedule a different tattoo shop and artist in order to bold out and...
Read moreI'm covered in tattoos face ,neck chest stomach feet etc. This has to be the worst tatoo shop on this planet. Not only did Spencer Cas me agony that was totally unnecessary he was sloppy lazy and and didn't even care about anything but the money. I bled during the whole tatoo and for 4 hours afterwards. I bled out 5 times in the dollar general across the street. I had to buy paper towels to clean up puddles of blood. He has no tatooing ability at all and his personality well he didn't have one at all. I don't drink alcohol and have my whole other arm sleeved and have never had a problem bleeding. This place charges 120$ an hour for something that my 6 year old nephew could do . This has got to be the worst tatoo shop in the United States. Beware of this place!! I went into shock. Got tatoo flu n was sick for two days. I had already paid for the next session and even after the Dr bill Spencer wasn't willing to refund my money. I wouldn't let this place put another tatoo on me if my life denied on it. Don't go here! It's unclear and unprofessional. The only good thing about this place is the cool little store n the guy who works beside it. Do your own tatoo before you let this...
Read morePreface: I have not been tattooed here (yet), but have an appointment to begin my sleeve early April, 2020.
This is the type of Tattoo shop I like. Laid back, comfortable, music playing, and friendly, accommodating people. I’ve been here previously to get my son’s ears re pierced and they were great with him (9yo at the time. This place welcomes well behaved children, and there didn’t seem to be any inappropriate imagery in the lobby area, so in terms of a kid friendly tattoo/piercing studio this is about as good as it gets.
The store seems fairly small, but seemed clean. All portfolios and cards are laid out to front so you can see all they offer at one time. The Front desk receptionist was very friendly and immediately referred me to a specific artist based on the design I have in mind. Her recommendation was sound, and I booked an appointment that day with DJ to get the sleeve started.
If you prefer your tattoo shops more casual and relaxed, while maintaining cleanliness and professionalism, this could be your place. I will update this review when I’ve gotten my...
