It looks like Gebhard Woods State Park has had better days in the past. All the ponds and water are dried up. Even the I&M Canal nearby is dried up. You have to go east near William G. Stratton State Park to see the canal, or I imagine more west is ok too.
It looked like there were some renovations occurring on the I&M Canal, so hopefully, the park is in better shape in the future.

Read moreThe flooding in 2013 and hard winter of 2014 have taken a toll on this park. The Nettles Creek aqueduct for the I&M canal that is on the SE side of this park has collapsed. The result is all of the parks ponds are dry. I remember seeing the stone walls and didn't realize it was suppose to be a waterfall till I saw pictures here. No set spot in the camping area, camp where you want in the area posted (about 2-3 acres) No showers just 2 sets of out house style bathrooms.
