I wanted to share my overall experience since purchasing in January 2024 and now living in this neighborhood for over a month.
The Good: The homes are absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood has gorgeous views and is in close proximity to wonderful outdoor space, hikes, red rocks and more. All of our neighbors have been so great to get to know and are extremely friendly. We are really excited to be in the community and know it is going to blossom into an outstanding neighborhood over the next few years and is a great investment to get into early.
The Bad: If purchasing from this community, or any Lennar community, do not work with sales rep Debra Baca. When determining if we wanted to purchase a home or not in this community we expressed how we were extremely picky about the interior package being installed prior to making a decision after coming from a 100 year old fixer upper home.
Debra presented us a very nice interior package that had light natural colored, extra wide planked, flooring - multiple times times before we went under contact. At the time of putting our deposit down, we confirmed the interior package a final time and officially went under contract. Fast forward to a few months later when we were visiting our home and checking on the construction progress, we were mortified to discover that a completely different vinyl flooring (dark gray that were skinny planks) and different colored carpet was installed. We immediately called the office to see why the wrong flooring had been installed and were told that Debra "accidentally" presented us the wrong interior package. Multiple times.
The sales office treated this giant mistake like it was not a multi-thousand dollar mistake. We had to get upper management involved. Lennar admitted they were at fault but refused to do anything about it other than credit us a portion of the costs at closing. We told them that the only acceptable solution would be to either lower the cost of the home or replace the flooring. They refused to offer us either of those options and told us we could either accept a closing cost concession or we could be refunded our deposit and walk away from the sale of the home. We then emailed the president of Colorado Lennar and complained about the situation and their attitude quickly changed after that and we were able to get a discount on the cost of the home. Although we eventually came to compromise, we had to FIGHT for an acceptable resolution for weeks. We are still out of pocket thousands of dollars for their mistake and had to immediately renovate a brand new build the day after closing.
We highly recommend you learn from our mistake and do not use Debra as your sales rep. When making a $900k+ purchase a mistake like that should NEVER have happened without a more...

Be sure to have adequate home owners insurance because Lennar will not warrant longer than 1 year on workmanship. Do not close on your home if things have been left undone. Unfortunately, this is what a $1 million dollar home looks like here in red...
