Stayed for the 4th of July weekend, and was completely disappointed. The campground and site was nice and clean, but the seasonal campers and most of the camp staff were terribly rude and harassed us the whole entire weekend. You couldn't breathe without being turned in. We had multiple visits from the park ranger the entire weekend for reasons that were just completely irrelevant and unjustifiable.. Seasonal campers rule the roost so if you want to have a good time and be social and meet new people, this is definitely not the place for you. If you're a crabby hermit who wants to complain about everyone (Seasonal Camper Naked Dave is his name on lot 69 not too sure of the prideful women at the site behind us), you'll have a great time. Thoughts and Prayers

The campground itself was fine. Road lanes were wide enough for cars and sites are a decent size. Now the experience: started out great! We got here and got set up & decided to relax & meet the other holiday (4th of July) camper. The seasonal residents pretty much put a damper on the holiday. They complain about everything! We watched a few groups leave early (as early as 4 days & on the holiday) because they were being harassed by the seasonal stayers and management. People were being reported for every little thing & management was being extremely rude to weekends campers. Our older kids were informed they are not to ride their bikes after 10pm and can only leave the campsite for a restroom trip. No night walks or anything. (No they weren’t being loud and obnoxious because I would have grounded them myself). No fire works or 4th of July celebration. No trash pickup & the dumpsters are about 1/2 a mile away at the entrance of the property. They do a very very small & poorly put together “kids activity” but it’s really not worth being called that (they got to color a picture of a flag or they got a glow stick inside an extremely hot building). Honestly I would recommend maybe checking out a few other campgrounds before setting & choosing this one. Definitely not the place to be if you have kids that like to be kids & your an adult that...

Very nice county campground. We have camped there for years. Have been seasonal now for over 3 years. Not sure we like some of the changes that have been presented for future needs. There are usually a few empty lots on the weekends so the need for 41 site expansion is not justified. Removing near site car parking for remote car parking is not a good idea. Would change our camping practices if this...
