I'd love to leave a 5 star review, this has been our favorite family camp ground for the past few years now. We always occupy the end corner. We're able to launch the boat & jet ski and leave them at the dock. Till last year the boat was broken into the battery was stolen and other costly items taken off the boat. This year it's happening again. My niece had her boat broken into again, while there with friends thankfully nothing from the boat was taken this time. But friends had a generator stolen and a camp down from them had bicycles stolen!! All while kids in tents!! We hear from other friends they have had this happen also. Bonnie has requested to close the gate at 10pm trying to keep the riffraft out! They told her NO! We had plans on going for 6 days again next week. But we just don't feel safe there any longer especially with kids sleeping in tents. When we canceled they charged us a $15. per site cancelation fee which I do not agree with. Now we hear they are planning on replacing Bonnie the camp host! Saying they need a man as camp host!! This is in no way Bonnie's fault this is happening, the city has her hands tied. Having a man as camp host is certainly not going to make any difference. It's not the campers stealing stuff, it's the ones coming in after hours driving around seeing what they can steal!! This has got to stop! I don't think we'll be...

Beautiful location with the lake. Lazy efforts on upkeep of the restroom and the grounds. General garbage pick up is needed around the park and I had to ask attendant to refill the toilet paper so there’d be some in the morning. Restrooms are disgusting-lots of spiders, sinks so old men came in to shave & brush their teeth but just turned right around and left. We wanted to use the shower…there were four but two were deadbolted and unavailable the whole time we were there. The other two that were open were totally disgusting and haven’t been cleaned in a while, people leave garbage in them, hair is stuck on the walls and if you didn’t wear a shower shoes you probably get a disease! Looked like they hadn’t been scrubbed or disinfected for quite some time, especially when a hundred campers are expecting to use them-sad. The grounds water sprinkler was broken by our camp spot and made a huge noise when it came on- looks like it has been broken a long time from the size of the indentation in the ground around it. This place has high potential but the park owner needs to put some of their profits back into it or it’ll be unusable in the...

Peaceful, Scenic, and Perfect for a Nature Escape

Cascade Park is a true local treasure — peaceful, spacious, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Whether you’re out for a quiet walk, a family picnic, or just need a break from the city buzz, this park offers exactly what you need.

The walking trails are well-kept and wind through shaded areas with lovely views of the creek and small waterfalls. There’s plenty of open space for kids to run around, and benches where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of nature.

What I love most is how clean and serene the park feels. It’s never too crowded, and there’s a relaxing charm to just being there — hearing birds, watching the trees sway, and feeling completely present.

A great spot for morning strolls, reading under a tree, or simply taking in some fresh air. I highly recommend Cascade Park to anyone looking to recharge in a quiet, green...

Beautiful view of the lake. Nice big beautiful grassy spaces with multiple playgrounds. The bathrooms were boarder line bio hazardous. The showers appear as though they never get cleaned DEFINITELY BRING SHOWER SHOES. Had to pay for the shower with quarters, you’d think a not free shower could be cleaner. Multiple times the bathrooms would be completely out of toilet paper, especially before bed or first thing in the morning potty trips. Poop smeared on the toilet seats. It was a constant stress if going to the bathroom would be possible and had to plan peeing around when we would be out and about doing other things like dinner etc. camping is lovely if you have your own trailer with restroom. Tent campers be warned. Also the swimming area is a joke. Don’t plan on coming here to swim.

A Peaceful Lakeside Spot for Families, Pets, and Play Cascade Park may be on the smaller side, but it packs a lot of charm and versatility. With its open grassy fields and lakefront access, it’s a great spot for boaters, families, kids, and pets to enjoy the outdoors. Whether you’re tossing a frisbee, playing yard games, or simply lounging by the water, there’s room to relax and have fun. On July 4th and other major holidays, the park really comes to life—families and friends gather for barbecues, kids splash near the shore, and you can often spot boats cruising across the lake. It’s a wholesome, welcoming space that’s perfect for creating memories and soaking in the joy of simple outdoor moments.

Quiet little campground not too far from town. I like that there's a parking lot that splits up the reserved camping and the public area. Bathrooms were HOT and humid. Showers had NO window venting. The ground keep, Bonnie: She was very nice. A little forgetful because I had plenty of interactions with her, but she kept repeating what she had already told me. Giving it a 4 because we're not suppose to swim in the campsite, (was told once, I didn't know never been here) but later other parties were swimming on the camping side with Bonnie doing her rounds and not saying anything. I will not make it a race thing, but we were the only minority family there.
