I have a lot of fond memories in this park. There are play areas for children, a covered picnic area where large groups can plan barbecues or get-togethers. The park has a lovely view of the lake, a boat launch, and some permanent restrooms as well (though they're about as nice as you can expect park bathrooms in a small town to be).

This is a great park to visit and play at during the day, but after dark, its not very inviting. The area isn't well lit, and at night its a fairly frequented area for individuals who -- often for sketchy reasons -- want privacy. As long as you visit the park during the day, or with a large group, there's nothing to worry about.

You can also walk, fish, boat, play volley ball (bring your own supplies) the park is a pretty good size. The lake could be less murky and there are these awful biting flies ( not sure what they are called). But then again this is part of the...

Very quiet, very nice small park! With a boat launch, playground, and ample parking. There is place for gathering and BBQ! Restroom needs some upkeeping and maintenance. Must see the sunset!

I love how clean this park is. There is a playground for kids, a large picnic area for good size parties, boat docks, and a large field for the "lovebirds" to enjoy the sunset.
