Beautiful area! The trails themselves leading to the falls can be somewhat difficult to find at first- they’re accessed by going onto the grounds of the Castle in the Clouds, and though there’s a map at the welcome desk to the castle lodge, it’s a little tricky finding exactly where the trail starts, as there aren’t very many signs telling you where to go. Once on the trail however, the path is clearly marked with reflective white squares pinned to various trees along the way. After you enter the trail, there are two paths that seem to ultimately lead to the same place, being the final waterfall. One, which has you closely follow the creek, takes you by all seven of the falls, rapids, and cascades, which are marked both with the trail markers and with placards telling you the name and some history around each set of falls, which grow in size and height as you wind your way down. This path is a bit of a more arduous walk, though it isn’t very long, as the terrain can get a bit steep and rugged, and thusly this particular path wouldn’t be very good for those with limited mobility or balance. The walk to the final, largest waterfall is only a little over a mile, and is a breathtakingly beautiful walk. Our dog had as much fun as we did, hopping through the water and jumping on the rocks in the sometimes surprisingly deep pools of refreshing water that gathers at the bottom of each waterfall. This place is totally gorgeous, and is well worth stopping by for those with an hour or so to spare!

Hiking trail inside castle in the clouds park. Trail takes you past 7 waterfalls, each with a placard telling you the history of the waterfall. Falls of song of the last one and it has a wooden ramp so you can walk up close easily. The trails has a easier path or a hard path for visitors to choose from, the harder path being closer to the water. It is well marked with white diamond trail markers. The route 171 entrance is closed to cars, but you can park on the side of the road and walk onto the trail. That's good for if you just want a quick trip to see falls of song, the last waterfall.

While the falls itself is beautiful, it's not mind-blowing.. It's a series of 7 falls that culminate with one final big falls.. interesting if you have a couple hours to spare.. Couple that with the Castle in the clouds and you've got yourself half a day's worth of adventure and you can view the Lake Winnepausaki from the top

Very nice falls. Large straight vertical drop with Crystal clear water. In wooded area but boardwalk constructed at the falls. Parking lot very close if you don't want to endure the .5 mile hike from the Castle in the Clouds Cafe viewing the other lesser 6 falls. If they were to pave a walkway to the boardwalk it could be made friendly to...
