The house tour is only on the first floor of the house so it is accessible to anyone via the ramp shown. There is very little furniture because Alice Paul wanted her work and mission to be known rather than become a celebrity, but this makes it easily maneuverable. There is an option for a self-guided tour that involves reading the info they have in 3 rooms and a hallway, or a guided tour for just $2 extra that basically summarizes all of that. There are some gifts for purchase on a windowsill with no prices listed. I wouldn't necessarily list this as a gift shop as they had. There is a free audio tour of the grounds outside that have dirt or gravel pathways or grass. This was a nice hidden gem that takes about 30 minutes-1.5 hours depending on how much time you want to spend.

What an incredible gem tucked away right in Mt. Laurel. I am almost embarrassed that I didn't know much about Alice Paul. Don't miss an opportunity to visit and learn about the efforts made to enable women to have the right to vote. Also take note of the fantastic work being done with today's youth through the institute.

We attended the Alice Paul birthday event. The panel presentation was excellent. It was our first time at Alice Paul’s childhood home and we enjoyed learning about her life. We also discovered it’s a stop on the NJ Women’s Heritage Trail which we didn’t know existed so now we will be exploring the rest of the trail!

An incredibly important historical home and farmstead of the Paul family from which Alice sprung. Now the location of the Alice Paul Institute that does incredible work mentoring and guiding young girls and women of all flavors to encourage and support them to be the best people that they can be. The 1800's house is beautiful inside and out and what's left of the original rolling farmstead acreage is absolutely breathtaking with magnificent mature trees and a ginkgo so large that I couldn't even believe it. A pilgrimage here is a must for you to be where Alice Paul called home and where she fought to make sure that the 19th amendment was ratified and where she authored the equal...
