Fritz farm is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue but it needs attention to details. I helped my son and his wife pay for the venue and I opted in for the extra wedding planner package by a professional so the bride didn’t have to stress. Day of wedding it was a beautiful day the tables were set awesome but the bridal suite for the girls to get ready lacked ventilation. They were sweltering hot. The ac kept kicking breaker they had to go down to the bathroom and do hair and makeup. The bathrooms reeked of septic smell while they got ready. Guests also complained of the septic smell around the bathrooms .
Guests arrived and had to dodge big piles of dog waste throughout the property while some stepped in it The guests were directed where to go when they arrived and wandered around not knowing what to do. Most of them saw the bride before the ceremony since they weren’t directed to the reception area.
The ceremony itself was beautiful with live music playing and only thing that we were disappointed about that part was the professional wedding planner and coordinator sent the bride down the aisle without her flowers. Her job was to coordinate this procession and she admitted she fell short but did not offer anything to make up for her mistake
Wedding planner moved the cake at last minute and it fell and got picked up with bare hands. Guests saw this unsanitary act and would not eat the cake.
All said the day was beautiful the bride gorgeous and we covered over the mistakes , plus stood guard over the dog poop so the bride didn’t step in it
It is a beautiful place but beware of the add ons. You are told you get the whole weekend but you don’t. Fri is rehearsal but you have to pay a big extra amount to have a dinner there . Sat you have to leave by 11 and on Sunday is pickup but noone will be there to help you or direct you to where your things are. The planning package is just a pre printed list of vendor affiliates and is not a personal touch Your 4 visits for planning are hard to schedule and you are lucky if you get...
Read moreHaley and Fritz Farm is a wonderful place to get married! They sold me because of their competitive price, the fact that at the time of booking you normally would get the venue for the whole weekend (covid made rebooking change this but I didn't mind) and the fact that they had an inventory of decor and decorations that were included in the price of the venue. We went with the upgrade planning package to have set up and break down taken care of and have Haley's help planning. I had a different vision for the venue other than the rustic look that many come to the farm for and Haley was so excited to do new things and create new looks. The day of was seamless, she was with us all day and had all our ducks in a row for us. She was pretty communicative and great to work with on design ideas. The venue itself is gorgeous, has ample parking, and is secluded. I loved the orchard and the new bathrooms and concrete slab added great value. We also loved being able to have the dance floor out under the stars. She has a great list of partner vendors to choose...
