A very pleasant experience overall at this “vine-to-wine” winery & tasting room with my highlight being the breathtaking outdoor scenery. DETAILS: • Family-owned winery that grows their grapes on-site. • Large tasting room with a gift shop. Can get a little loud at times but never unbearable. • Red & white wine varietals. In my opinion, the majority of the wines tasted “sweet”, including some that were were categorized as “dry”, but this typical characteristic of PA wines. • 6 free tastings (amazing!) & we weren’t pressured to buy bottles or sign-up for memberships which was nice! • Free appetizers/finger foods (self-serve; buffet style). • Picturesque setting - a large open picnic area with a gorgeous lake set in the foothills. • Covered patio area with tables & chairs. • Friendly staff and owners.

This place is very pretty and the go to site for setting up a picnic while drinking with friends. You must make a drink purchase before using their lovely patio. There are reserved, non-reserved, and smoking seating. I went on a sunday and one of two lots was already filled 30min after opening. Each person gets 5 tastes for free. The bottles are around $13. The wine is very good here. It was very hard to choose from. I'm more of a sweet drinker, but even I enjoyed a semi-dry here.

This weekend celebrates the arrival of the very popular, semi-sweet blush wine, Christmas Rose, along with a new Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered. In addition, enjoy a wonderous sampling and a good explanation of all their wines at the Complimentary Tasting Bar, which we always enjoy! Here's two pics at a summer event there.

People are always writing bad reviews so I just wanted to take a moment a write about my very WONDERFUL experience.

My wedding is next month, my fiance and I thought we had everything done and it was the waiting game. We tried on several occasions to contact the vendor that was taking care of our favors and we received NOTHING from them after giving them our credit card number for a deposit considering they wouldn't do anything with our order until they received our deposit. All of this took place in Feburary and here we are in April and got nothing from them.

Flash forward, I reached out to Stone Villa to inquire about them doing my favors with only a little over a month notice before my wedding. Not only were they very helpful and informative over the phone but, I had an email with information I requested within an hour after hanging up the phone. My fiance, mother, father and 2 very young children went up there today to speak with them, taste some wines and make decisions on what we wanted and the staff was PHENOMENAL! Nothing less than amazing with my children who were bored to tears very knowledgeable about the product! Although, our order at Stone Villa was a little more than it was with our original vendor, I am much happier and confident! In my opinion, it's worth every penny!

The site is gorgeous and the wine is out of this world! I have had wine from there on several occasions and have never been disappointed! I have and will continue to recommend Stone Villa for ANY occasion! If you are considering using them for wedding favors, they get 10...

I arrived at Stone Villa Wine Cellars on a late Wednesday afternoon to buy a bottle of wine for a friend. It was quiet, and when I entered, Aaron, the tender greeted me. He warmly welcomed me and walked me through the various dry reds they had. The unfiltered Cabernet was the best cab I’ve ever tasted. I tasted eight different wines and each of them, whether they be bold or soothing, or delightful. It was clear that they truly know what they are doing here and that the only wine that gets bottled is wine that has been tried and proven true. Aaron was even kind enough to give me a tour of the fermentation and bottling rooms. After this, I enjoyed the sunny afternoon on the back patio area overlooking a beautiful pond. I know only left with three bottles of wine, one which Aaron offered to me freely, but I was also left with an unforgettable impression of this pleasant place. Five...
