Let’s just start out by saying this place is amazing the views could have you passing out. The food was to die for, the short ribs were legendary, would have gone for seconds but my doctor told me to stay away from red meat due to my blood pressure #silentkiller. Holding a loved one at sunset on the marsh here will turn you into an emotional limp noodle. Be careful where you walk around the place though, you would have thought George Bush was in attendance by the amount of people that ended up in the shrubbery. Staff was excellent. Experience unmatched. I promise I will NEVER forget the CEREMONY of the wedding I went to here and trust me most are snooze fests. The DJ was an absolute stud, real glad to see British people in the scene. I will say it is a little sketch having gravel where the bride and groom stand, something softer would have been nice incase the rings get dropped (this is just me though I like to plan ahead - due to personal reasons I won’t get into here). Some negatives for me were poor emergency service accessibility to the back yard and I felt like an AED could have been better marked for visibility from the back yard. Thankfully nothing really happened but you never know - minus 1/2 star for each of those. All of this being said this place has set the bar too high for what I want out of a wedding for every future...
Read moreThe Creek Club is truly a great venue. As a Mt. Pleasant local, I had my sights on I'On for a long time coming. Growing up I had memories paddle boarding and boating down the creek. It was a no brainer when you consider all that you get with I'On: tables, silverware, in house catering/ bar, ceremony chairs, the list goes on. Additionally, the staff is extremely helpful. In the planning period we met with Jamie multiple times to discuss floor plans and the menu. She was attentive and responsive. Not sure we could have made it to the big day without her assistance. On the day of, the banquet captain Sandra was AMAZING. Michael and I had a full plate of apps, dinner, and cake brought to us no question. My husband was very nervous about a line at the bar. Jamie reassured us that she has rarely had an experience where there was a long line at their bar- speaking to their bartending staff's efficiency. She was not wrong and my husband could not have been more pleased. We had 2 custom drinks- one of which was a Manhattan and were individually prepared. They were fast and everyone was satisfied. We also had wine service during dinner. The staff made it to all of the tables 2-3 times during the 40 minute...
Read moreCreek Club at I'On was the first wedding venue that I saw. I knew at that moment that it would be the place where I got married. Creek Club at I'On is truly a breathtaking venue with views out of a movie. Between the creek in the back, the beautiful wrap around porch, and the giant live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, there is nowhere more picturesque. Once you get past the awe-inspiring outside, you will likely meet Mike and Colleen. Both Mike and Colleen were incredibly helpful and they take the time to sit down with you and go through the menu and bar options thoroughly. This was the only venue that I saw that actually took the time to do this. Fast forward to wedding day, the Creek Club staff were nothing short of AMAZING. Every single person that worked my wedding was kind, helpful, and incredibly efficient. I cannot skip over the most important part: the FOOD! My guests would not stop RAVING about the food. I did not hear one negative thing about the food. I cannot thank the staff at Creek Club enough for helping to make my wedding day the most perfect day of my life. I only wish I could have every life event at this...
