By far, the most entertaining and comprehensive antique tractor show available. During the 5 days preceding Labor Day, there is so much to see and do at Midwest Old Threshers Reunion, a person can hardly fit it all into one day. But wow, what a day! Nearly all of the attractions are operated by volunteers passionate about their hobbies and interests. The museum has expanded through the years and provides a glimpse into the past at regular hours throughout the year but the annual Labor Day show is truly outstanding. There is nothing else like it that combines so many unique things into one event. They have: steam locomotives hauling passengers, gas tractors, steam tractors, 100+ year old trolleys that still operate, a log village, antique cars & trucks, a 1800s town, tractor rides, gas engines, steam engine, a history museum, a swap meet, a flea market, country shows by big stars, multiple artists with singing and dancing, a working mill, a steam carousel, steam engine power house, and more. Read moreThis was our first time here. Parking was a little confusing, with so many private citizens offering paid parking in their yards, but we got to the main area, where parking was only $5. It was $15 each for a day pass, and well worth it! There were food vendors, an indoor & outdoor flea market, historical vehicles & implements that went on parade, and even working trolleys and a train. There were shows with train robbers & a jail break, dancing girls, and so much more. There is something for everyone!
Then we found more vendors downtown at the central park (though probably not affiliated).

Read moreI usually go every year but it's the same thing year after year It seems like but this year they've been adding and remodeling a few things adding new things It's still kind of the basic same thing that concerts are different every year I usually go for the food and concerts but they're changing it up a little it's getting you know a little better. I like the fact that you pay one price and that gets you in the gate and then that pays that includes the concerts and and all of that of course the trolley and the train and all that you know cost extra to ride but it's a lot to see. It seems that there aren't as many vendors as they're used to be but they're still a lot It's a good family fun...
