If you drive to middle falls, the trail going down will lead you to middle falls and yes you can get to the water pretty easily. It’s nice and short trail. If you take the trail up that takes you to lookout point for upper falls which is ok if you have time for both I would suggest do the upper and then middle.
If reading this review I’ll say take a bug spray with you, there are so many mosquitoes in certain parts near middle falls. Sun screen is also must since it’s pretty hot around this time of year.

Trail was well maintained although after you pass the campground between lower and middle falls the plants by the side of the trail did encroach on the trail a bit so you have to duck under a few branches and push some to the side but it was just minor.
Lower falls is a cute little falls; middle falls is the real showcase, really nice; and upper haha is pretty amazing as well, amazing that water could carve down through the rock like that over so many years.
