Plaza on the Square — Attraction in Mount Vernon

I realize this is the first year, I'm assuming, but I attended the motorcycle show this morning on the square. I was really surprised by the lack of participation by our normal, local vendors and riders alike. There was no additional food vendors or crafts and very few of the regular ones. People were looking for a place to be, but there was nothing to do. There were riders looking for a place to look at other bikes, but they left. I'm hoping next year will be a better turn out.
