I went to find the waterfalls in Sage Ravine since New England waterfalls rates them #1 in CT. Well after 3 miles once in the ravine I found nothing to speak of. Realizing reality I had to hike those 3 miles out, I turned around. I wouldn't call it a waste of time and energy since I did find several smaller falls but I'd never put myself through this for what I found. Also trails are poorly marked and I went close to a mile out of my way and had to back track. I then find out reaching said falls requires one to bushwack off the beaten trails but it helps knowing where your going. Plus at this time of year good chance there's no water falling.
