The main attraction is Bash Bish Falls. They are very impressive and worth the trek back up. You can park in the NY lot and have a longer, flatter hike, or park in the MA lot and have a shorter, steep hike. We parked in MA and thought the walk was fine. It's also less crowded. The falls are gorgeous. There are port-a-potties down by the falls and also one in the MA parking lot. We saw plenty of kids and dogs. I wouldn't take kids too young to understand the need to be careful down on the rocks on around the riverbed. The trail was a little muddy. Don't wear your best shoes and make sure they are sturdy.
