This our 3rd straight season staying here and overall we are super happy. Brian the park attendant is fantastic and we rate him 10/10. Compared to the other parks in the area I feel that Bidwell is the best as far as how many restrooms it has, it’s super clean, and lots of shade at the majority of the sites. The only concern I have is the width of the road and the spaces as you pull campers in, if you meet another camper on the roads in the park someone has to take the ditch and a lot of the spots aren’t wide so hopefully you are a professional at parking and backing up. Otherwise we are super happy here and again thank you brian for all your...

Bidwell point is a Corps of Engineers Campground that has needed to be updated for quite some time. A lot of their parking spots are not big enough for large campers. And, due to the amount of driftwood piled up, a lot of the spots cannot be reached let alone even parked on. Hopefully for the summer of 2018 this will be cleared up and the park will again be a decent Campground. I will say this however, if you want to camp there, you had better make reservations 3 to 6 months ahead of time through reservation.gov. and, if you are hoping to get a walk-up site, you should be there on a Tuesday or Wednesday or you will most likely not get one...

Great campground. It's your typical coe Park very cool and very well maintained I'll definitely be back. The views are spectacular and you cannot beat them great lake to come fish ski or whatever you like for water sports. Kinda hilly so be prepared but easy to get around still. Park is patrolled by law enforcement occasionally but even still very quiet and safe feel...

We drove from Kansas City down to camp out the night before the Eclipse which was going to be in totality in this area. It's a nice clean, quiet camp ground with full electrical and water hook-up for the RV crowd as well as people like us that just pitched a tent. The view of the Eclipse was wonderful. Mountain Home Ark is only a 10 min drive from the campground
