Norfork Lake — Attraction in Mountain Home

This is a beautiful lake, most of the shoreline is still wooded and not built up with fancy homes. If you are a diver, this place has many dive locations. Go to Jordan's marina and buy a map with dive locations on it. I would think this lake (like most in Arkansas) would be busy on summer weekends. I normally dive this lake in late summer and never have crazy boat traffic...

Excellent place, if you like all the sand you see on pictures double check before go with someone from there or with the local tourist office due it seems they have flood season and after the flood pass all the sand disappear until they bring new sand for the next season, water is warm and calm, if you rent a boat you will have even more fun but rent with enough...
