We have took over as caretakers of Bluff Hole Park 2 days ago. It's an older very nice day park. Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy the Mulberry river. You can also choose to fish or swim. There are plentiful picnic areas with picnic tables and grills. Bluff Hole Park has many beautiful trees to sit under and enjoy reading a book. There is a large grassy area where you could fly a kite or play tag football. The day fee is only $5.00 a car no matter how big the car or how many people are in it. Or you could purchase a yearly pass for $40.00 so you could enjoy Bluff Hole Park whenever you can as many times as you want. It's a quiet family atmosphere. This beautiful green space is set right along the river and provides stunning views of the bluffs and nature surroundings. with diverse wildlife, rock formations, springs and wildflowers. There are plenty of benches and scenic look-out points to stop and take in the peaceful views.
The park also has a playground, picnic areas with pavilions, which is perfect for families. The facilities were very clean and well-kept.

You do have to keep a sharp eye out for snakes when you are there. 3 were spotted at the "beach area" and 1 was spotted by the tree roots down by the shallow area the the last time we were there. I don't agree with the fee. Don't even think of bringing your dog as the rules strictly prohibit it. The kids and I had a lot of fun and they are slowly learning how to swim.
