The Arts Center of Cannon County — Attraction in Murfreesboro

The only reason I’m not giving 5 starts is because I had some lady that was involved somehow behind the scenes sit beside me ON HER PHONE and SPEAKING ON HER HEADSET the entire performance! Look, I know she had a”job to do” or whatever, but seated beside patrons that pay money to see the performance is not the place for it. It was incredibly distracting and annoying. Having said that, the Sweeny Todd performance was excellent! Well done all the way around! Would I go again? Absolutely! I just hope they see this and take it into consideration so that no one else has to sit through constant glowing phone screens and inconsiderate chattering...

We had a wonderful field trip to the Art center in Cannon County. We had lunch under their pavilion and the kids enjoyed the large field to play after lunch. The center was kept up very nicely; it was clean and the kids really enjoyed watching Sherlock Holmes. Everyone did a fantastic job and everyone was kind. They also have a cute shop with many nice things, including organic soap, lamps, art pieces, and much more. I found a nice picture that someone painted. I can't wait to frame it. Very surprising driving all the way here and dining a gorgeous theater and art center. An open, black box style (audience seats on all three sides) theater. The theater company had great talent to make a beautiful show. Down the hall ways you'll find art displayed and a unique gift shop/kitchen with organic local goods, and a Kombucha bar and tasting area. There is so much more to this center that I didn't get to see just coming you see the last show Seussical the Musical.
