Recently I took my daughter to Gearhard Farms to grab a pumpkin and go through the corn maze. After paying to enter the maze I noticed the pathway was more narrow than I thought it would be. I have claustrophobia and I turned to my father, who was with us, and said I was afraid of having a panic attack if we couldn't find the way out of the maze. A gentleman had overheard our conversation and said his name was Herb and he would be happy to guide us through the maze and that he knew where all of the exits were because he created the maze and this is his farm. The maze itself was a great time and I learned some cool trivia about Westmoreland county and other local things. I don't recall how much the maze cost to enter but it was very reasonable. There was also an area where you can purchase pumpkins and they also had limited drinks you can purchase. There is also a separate area for parties and groups. Parking was ample and they did have handicapped parking. We had a great time and I highly recommend everything they have to offer on the farm. A special thanks to Herb for...
