My trip to Idle Isle would have been a complete bust if it weren't for Park Arthur. Unlike Idle Isle, dogs are welcome here. This is a big, clean park with lots of paved (wheelchair and stroller friendly) paths around the park. There are clean restrooms that were open even at 7am. The park has plenty of nice grassy patches where one can enjoy the weather, and there's also lots of benches around (some under the sun, some in the shade). There are two big parking lots, which is great because, based on the number of softball fields here, these lots may be just barely big enough. There's even an archery field here - I haven't seen that at too many other parks. There's also a sledding hill, which is a pleasant trek up even in August because of all the pretty flowers.

The park itself is beautiful with great ball fields, perfect for a baseball tournament. However, it's unbelievable and frankly unacceptable that an industrial-sized burn pile with what smelled like toxic trash was operating right next to the park. The smell was so bad it was making people nauseous. This seriously detracts from an otherwise great venue and is a major health and safety concern for all the children and families present.

This baseball park is one of my favorites! Horse farm to the right, where you can see some hores. The view in front of you is a walking trial that leads up a huge hill. Baseball diamonds around you (I believe four of them). A play ground to the left. Bathrooms with flushable toilets, plus port a potty's as well! Well kept up!! Good job Muskago!!
