Franklin Creek Grist Mill & Franklin Creek Conservation Association — Attraction in Nachusa Township

this is a very fun little place to visit. A great replica of the mill that used to stand where this building is standing now. They let you run the mill so your kids can see how it works. They have a basement level where you can see all the gears turning when the mill is running. They let my daughter shut down the mill for the day when we visited and she thought it was really special.
