Love the dog park the only problem is you get those people who bring their aggressive dogs just the other day my dog was almost attacked and I saw another dog attacked by the same one. The owners weren’t always on top of the behavior point being don’t bring your dog if you know it’s gonna be aggressive towards other people’s animals otherwise you may end up paying a vet bill and getting yelled at :/ people go there to let their dogs have fun or have play dates don’t ruin it at least have your dog meet family dogs first and slowly introduce them because I’m sure you wouldn’t like it if another dog attacked yours, anyways other then that issue for the most part everyone’s dogs are really friendly and so are the owners it’s really nice to see,
ALSO PLEASE NOTE SMALL DOGS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE IN THE SMALL DOG AREA IT IS JUST THERE IN CASE YOUR SMALL DOG FEELS UNSAFE AROUND LARGER DOGS, your dogs must be okay with small breeds too not just large ones so don’t try forcing others to stay within the small dog area, I didn’t have the issue but noticed others have , aggressive behavior isn’t tolerated with other owners no matter the dog size the small dogs have every right to the other side as well plus there is no sign stating small dogs can’t be in the bigger part of the dog part :3 so don’t discriminate. And make sure your dog or dogs are okay with all sizes of dogs before bringing them to any dog park. Yes you want them to get use to all sizes but that doesn’t mean. Put others animals at risk and yeah I know bringing them anywhere in public is a risk but it’s also your job you train your dog to know basic manners ^^

Read moreIt’s beautiful park with tons of running space and even a large pond. I’m rating it so low because of the people who are clueless about the manners both they and their dogs should have if at a dog park more do they follow the important posted rules. Understanding that these problem people represent a small percent of the population who bring their dogs but nonetheless it’s these bad mannered dogs and people who ruin it for all. Several aggressive dogs, dogs that mount/hump anything that moves including people. I’ve even seen a dog that peed on a woman while watching her dog play and the owner laughed. Today I witnessed two unneutered dogs, a pitpull and Pointer get into a dog fight...the testosterone in unfixed male dogs, no matter the breed, send them into full territory protection mode around other competitors and so ensues the fighting. My dog was attacked on the way out of the park by two extremely aggressive Great Danes, their owners stood and watched while I was fighting to pull both of them off my dog. It wasn’t until I kicked at one that either owner reacted. I’d suggest early mornings to avoid the bad dogs/owners if you’re brave enough to take...
