Bell Wine Cellars — Attraction in Napa Valley AVA

I visited Bell Wine Cellars with some co-workers and we had a wonderful experience. In addition to the wine being delicious, our Guest Relations Ambassador, John Helfrick, was amazing! He gave us a great tour and was very knowledgeable about the winery, wine making and of course all of the wine we were trying. He made us laugh and made sure we had a great time. This is by far the best and the most educational wine tasting experience we had. I have been here twice in different groups and more than satisfied both times. The host carefully assessed what we know through casual conversations and gave tours about exactly what we wanted to know. The host (Marc, by the way, was very knowledgeable about wine making in the entire Napa valley) even briefly took us to the vineyard to show how the grapes were ready to get harvested. This is a beautiful winery with arguably some of the best wines in Napa. From the time we arrived to the time we left, Jan treated us like royalty. He was fun and knowledgeable as he walked us through the process. We learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience. And the wines! Oh the wines! They were probably the best wines I've ever had. Unfortunately, this was also the very first Napa winery I ever visited so the rest needed to live up to this one. A difficult task indeed.
