I recently had the pleasure of visiting Charsaw Lavender Farm in Napa, and it was such a delightful and relaxing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by one of the staff members, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She took the time to share her knowledge about the different varieties of lavender grown on the farm, explaining how some types are primarily used for their aromatic qualities while others are valued for medicinal purposes. I truly appreciated learning about the planting cycle and harvest times—it gave me a deeper appreciation for the care that goes into growing and maintaining lavender.
Although our visit happened to fall on the last day of the season—just after peak bloom in June—we still enjoyed seeing the remaining lavender plants. The vibrant purple hues may have been fading, but the air was still filled with a calming fragrance that made the entire setting feel peaceful.
We also had the chance to explore the charming gift shop. Inside, we saw where the lavender is dried and prepared for different uses. The shelves were filled with an impressive variety of lavender-inspired products, from soaps and oils to honey, hand sanitizers, and much more. Each item felt thoughtfully crafted and connected to the farm itself.
What made the experience even more exciting was learning that Sharsaw offers spring classes where guests can participate in hands-on activities while enjoying refreshments. This really spoke to the farm’s family-owned and community-focused atmosphere.
Overall, my visit to Charsaw Lavender Farm was both educational and enjoyable. Even though I came at the end of the season, I left feeling relaxed and inspired—and I cannot wait to return in June to experience the fields in...
Read moreWhat a beautiful day it was at Charsaw Farms. We were greeted by one of the owners as we pulled into the farm. We were a group of 5 ladies and we signed up for the wreath making class. From harvesting the lavender to making the wreath to enjoying a picnic on the beautiful property it was the perfect day. The owner showed us around and taught us about the lavender business. She was simply delightful! The shop has some great products that I can’t wait to use. The cookies, honey and chapstick are some of my favorites. I will certainly plan to go back again...

We lucked out and were in town for the summer's opening weekend at Charsaw. We loved all of the lavender goodies and the beautiful property. It was the perfect spot to find souvenirs to send my family and continue my quest of convincing them to join me in California. Thank you for having us!! Everybody was so welcoming, including the chickens. I highly recommend...
