My family had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter’s birthday at the beautiful Reid Winery. Our gratitude host Bay helped made this day more memorable than we ever could of imagined. This unique family run winery is a hidden gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Napa you drive down an ordinary looking road into a winery vineyard oasis. Bays knowledge of wines and his vivacious personality had everyone engaged right from the start. Now let’s get into the wines - you need to try them all! Each one was better than the next ( and the starting Wine to wet our pallets was at a very high bar to start) There is a wine for all types of wine lovers here. We cannot wait to go back, even on raining miserable day - this winery was our highlight. The outdoor table setting, endless views, delicious added cheese, spectacular wines - and of course our host Bay !!! A must go to winery. 5 stars all round . **Also super Covid...
Read moreWhat a lucky find!!! Reid Family Vineyard was recommended to us and we had an AMAZING time!!! The wines are delicious, small batch wines. The wines, just like the tour, are accessible, interesting and personal. Bay, the youngest son, is quite simply an incredibly warm, gregarious and knowledgeable gentleman, not to mention a talented musician. He treated us to a serenade of a few tunes accompanied on his new guitar. The sound of his guitar had a similar energy, warmth and brightness to its owner. This is wine making and tasting on a personal level you just will not find anywhere else. Thank you for the recommendation Erin and thank you Bay for an unforgettable experience. I am pretty sure if we lived here we would become close friends. You rarely find such genuinely interesting and fun people! Best wishes for unlimited future success and...
Read moreBay and Erin were excellent hosts – so warm and welcoming! The vineyard itself is absolutely lovely, and we truly enjoyed their wines. We hosted a private dinner at the estate, and Erin was fantastic to work with: very accommodating, reasonably priced, and she even brought in a wonderful chef for the evening.
The food was delicious and paired beautifully with the wines. The only small hiccups (more related to the chef than the vineyard) were that our short rib was served with grits instead of the expected garlic mashed potatoes, and our pescatarian guest was given a vegan entrée rather than a seafood-based one, which wasn’t her favorite. That said, the flavors were still excellent and everyone enjoyed the meal overall.
Reid Family Vineyards provided such a memorable experience, and I will definitely be back the next time...
