This is one of the biggest dog parks around. We love it! Most dog owners are attentive and dogs are well behaved. It can be muddy after a rain. Children under 10 are not allowed for their own safety especially on week ends when lots of dogs are there. Also, do not leave purses or expensive items in your car. There have been numerous break-ins even though the parking lot is right next to the park. The police told me that beautiful spring and fall week-ends are the times for the highest number of break-ins. There is a nice covered pavilion with table and benches outside the fenced in area, a port-a-potty, and chairs inside the fence. Enjoy!

This is a very large open field without trees. There is a lot of dirt and the grass is sparse. There are a lot of chairs throughout the field (looks like more for the dogs than the people). I did wish there was a separate area for small dogs as my dog thinks small animals are to be chased; this creates hostility between the large and small dog owners but nothing can be done except to ask someone to leave. There was a covered area on the side but only a handful of people can stand there at a time. Note that the faucets are kept off until it’s stops dropping below 0. Ok overall.

Plenty of room for dogs to play and run. This park doesn't have a separate area for smaller dogs, but that doesn't seem to cause any problems. There's one shelter that provides shade and several benches scattered around the park. I do recommend that you take your own water. There is a fountain but the ground around it gets muddy at times. Four stars instead of five due to a lack of grass some of the time, but it's probably tough to maintain with all the foot (and paw) traffic.

After coming here for 2 years I feel I can have a strong review.

Our pup loves coming here and we usually see the same dogs most of the times which is nice. In the past, we did have two situations where two different people brought their unfriendly aggressive dogs and did not want to leave. It is clearly stated on the sign that if your dog shows any form of aggression, they must leave. It should not be the friendly dogs that have to leave, which is what we ended up doing because we did not want to risk our pups life.

There are a couple of pros and cons to this park.

Pros: It is very large which is great Has a fresh water fountain for the dogs Has a couple areas that can be shaded from the sun

Cons: There is a lot of dust because of large areas that don’t have grass don’t wear nice shoes. Make sure to wear fully closed toe shoes Don’t wear anything nice. It will get dirty

There is always this large puddle filled with water and dirt. Unfortunately, since our dog loves water, he likes to dive right in and then he’s covered in mud. Unfortunately, after one evening when we took him there and he drank from it, he became sick fairly quickly after and he was for days and we ended up having to take him to urgent care. He is currently being checked for Giardia.

*I’m hoping that whoever oversees this park can do something about the large hole the dogs get in. Not only to prevent extreme dirtiness but also to prevent sickness from contaminated water.

Overall - a nice park but just like any park...

We have two dogs, both puppies. We have been coming here since they were up to date on shots, etc. Today, one of our puppies was kicked by an owner because his puppy was scared of ours. Both of the puppies are the same age. The other dog seems to have not been well socialized. However, this is where our trips to this park come to an end. As we were walking out with our pups, both on leashes, a very large dog darts at our one year old German shepherd and attacks him. We understand if it were “puppy play” however, this dog was older. The owner of the dog did absolutely nothing about it until ours started yelping. We were scratched by the other dog. We left the park while the dog that attacked ours, proceeded to play and we witnessed the owner laughing and acting like it was nothing as we left. Just very disappointed as we live in a townhome with no yard, and this is where we brought our puppies to run around and play. Just wish that some people were more careful with...

Large open square plain boring field of a dogpark...would think in such an upscale part of Nashville that the dogpark would match the surroundings but no such luck. Shockingly enough our fav fav fav dogpark in nashville is actually Antioch. It has a fenced walking trail and several different ground textures, not just dirt. Oh almost forgot, at edwin warner they put down huge river rocks around the entrance. Both my dogs (25lbs and 60lbs) looked like they were in pain as they ackwardly tried to maneuver across it to find soft salvation in the dirt.....no grass.....just dirt. And if its rained in the last 3 days, forget about, just a big mud pit. Or if it's a hot summer day, also forget it because there isnt any shade anywhere.

Come on guys, u...
