I went to this church for 13 years. I was baptized here, I went to my first mission trip with their leaders, served on countless teams, and a few of the staff (though most are gone) helped raise me. Unfortunately, I have been forced out as of last year due to relying on a service dog. I depend on my dog to be able to go in public. He has over 17 tasks and alerts to mitigate my disabilities and keep me safe. He also knows an additional 23 commands to stay out of the way, and be virtually invisible in public. He makes sure that my heart rate is stable, my cortisol isn't going too high, and assists with my ptsd, ocd, and panic disorder. He helps me walk when I'm extremely dizzy, guides me when I'm confused or have brain fog, and pulls a wheelchair when I'm too fatigued to walk. He is a gift from God that I cannot live without. I was repeatedly talked down to, and dismissed when explaining this. Because I am not blind or in a wheelchair (all the time) I was not disabled enough for the church leaders. Due to separation of church and state, religious organizations have the right to deny me access, so as to not infringe on religious practices. However the reason I will never be able to step foot in my once place of worship and safety lies solely in the fact that me and my medical equipment would be an inconvenience. I sincerely hope that this church does not pick and choose from the Bible the same way that they do the law. The only reason for 2 stars is for the staff Wayne Causey and Beth Howe.

Read moreExcellent church that is doing a great job at being inclusive while not compromising scripture. Not overly worried about attire or your status or career or pocketbook or pressuring to give xx much. Have attended regularly for over a year now and feel safe to say the main pastor and many of the other staff are just as loving and dedicated as they appear at first glance, if not moreso.
Very refreshing to hear convicting messages, getting into the word, and have a community of people who legitimately care in an age and city very focused on tolerance and catering to cultural norms.
Great outreach opportunities year round makes it beneficial to the community too.
Thankful there are churches preaching truth while doing it with love and that I'm close enough (35 mins) to visit...

The hymns and choir are amazing. The preacher brings a wonderful message each week. My daughter attends the youth activities on Sundays and Wednesdays and is now signed up for camp and her first mission trip. They give back so much to the community, locally and abroad. You won't be disappointed if you visit. We love it, Nicki and...
