McAlpine Meadery — Attraction in Navarre

If you want to try something different than the McAlpine Meadery is worth the adventure. A very unique place like no other with very friendly owners. If you do not know what mead is, Mead is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey. They will also add different fruit to add flavors. It isn’t classified as beer or wine, but stands apart in its own type of alcoholic beverage. It’s also known as the oldest alcoholic beverage on earth. Made by Vikings, Mayans, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and probably pirates too. My favorite flavors are Apple, elderberry, Blackberry, and last but not least the raw Ohio Honey! My parents have a small vineyard in upstate NY. (Not a winery) so over the years I've had the good fortune of trying good wine.

I'm not really a fan of wine.

Meade, however is a different story.

I don't have it in me to write a long review, but this Meade is amazing. So many different brands and flavors.

The other day I even tried the habenero Meade which was good. These guys are killing it .

Honestly, where do I start? The place is whole vibe. Whether or not you want a classy night out or to go to a themed rock show, Mcalpine has it all. The staff is incredible, the owner is one of the best people to grace this earth and the atmosphere is top notch. 1 billon/10 and I haven’t even mentioned the mead yet because that’s literally the cherry on top of the whole experience.
