The trail was awesome, but at this time (June 10, 2024) the Lower Sluice Box Trailhead was not able to be traversed as the path was blocked by the water being to high and fast. The trail has not yet been all the way cleared and Maintained as it is still early in the summer, so there is brush and trees I the path in currently so be prepared. It is worth mentioning, there are two paths you can take on the Upper Sluice Boxes Trailhead: Cliff side and Ridgeline. At this time Cliff side is pretty washed out with loose gravel and I do not recommend taking it until it is better maintained, take Ridgeline. It is a little more work but overall a much better hike for kids and older people alike. Read moreA great portion of the park to visit; although not for less experienced hikers(if you choose to go off the marked path with fences); as most portions of the trails carved out by others hiking doing so can be treacherous and tedious, depending on the season you visit the location. If you do hike it, experienced or not; the scenery is just exquisite, breathe taking at some points just viewing off the cliffs at all thats about. If you just want to view the scenery though, while not peering from the tops of the cliffs, I highly suggest just going to the lower portions of the park, as they still have perfect scenery and less of a risk factor...

If you park at 2nd parking to the entrance you don’t have to cross any creek but in the starting its steep incline and steep climb in .
