A superior lake about 8 miles around circumference. Excellent for paddling because not a lot of boat traffic during the week. Weekends can get a bit crazy. The portage into the neighboring pond is 50 feet and well worth the effort. No Boats!!
Water quality bis some of the best in new Hampshire. This place should be a five but for one major drawback ... Parking There is so little bad to make it all but unusable on weekends. No parking signs outnumber the birdlife. Signs of no trespassing and private property, keep out abound. Not the most friendly place I have ever paddled.
